On Friday, 13th September 2024, Gradding organized the design thinking workshop at Maharani Gayatri Devi School. Mr. Sameer Shah, the facilitator of design thinking lead the event with the students.

The purpose of conducting the workshop is to identify and address the problems and opportunities and find out the difficulties in systems or projects. In addition, design thinking is a human-centred approach that leads to innovation and problem-solving skills. Moreover, the workshop covered the 35 students who engaged in the different activities.

A Quick Glance About the Workshop

The facilitator of the Design Thinking Workshop introduced the need and the major principles of design thinking. He makes students understand inclusive viewpoints and think beyond the obvious. However, the design thinking process is based on three factors that are Empathise, Experiment, and Explore which make students reach creative solutions. Students get involved in activities that help in solving the problems with the right solutions. Below are some of the creative activities that students occupied during the workshop.

3 Rope Exercise

4 Re-Designing the Stick

5 Group Discussions

These are some of the activities where students got involved in understanding the insights and opportunities through detailed tasks. The workshop was a great initiative for students to engage in innovation and problem-solving situations.
