1. Have applied to study at the University of Dundee for January 2024, and received an offer letter for a full-time, on campus course. Students must check terms and conditions for rejections.
2. Have achieved either a first class Honours degree. For overseas qualifications, the University of Dundee will determine the grade equivalents.
3. Be classified as an International-fee paying student by the University of Dundee.
4. Not hold any other University of Dundee Scholarships.
5. Not be studying a PhD Course.
6. Have a course tuition fee of £19,600.

Note: Any course which does not have a fee of this value, or above, will not be considered for this scholarship.

More About the Scholarship and Application Process! 

This Scholarship applies over and above the automatic Vice Chancellor's South Asia Scholarship worth £4,000 per year of study (£12,000 for a three year degree, £16,000 for a four year degree, £20,000 for a five year degree, and £4,000 for a one year postgraduate degree). 

Candidates should note that there is no separate application form for the Global Excellence Scholarship. The University of Dundee admissions team will use all information on a Student’s course application to determine if they meet the eligibility criteria. 

The verification process will happen at the initial offer stage.

1. Where an applicant who has ‘pending’ academic achievements at point of offer, the University will not be able to confirm the scholarship until academic qualifications have been submitted and verified. 
2. Where an applicant does not meet the criteria for this scholarship, the University may inform the applicant to look for other available scholarships.
