 Established by Royal Charter in 1827 as King's College, the University of Toronto has transformed into a multifaceted institution. It encompasses three campuses, the main one at St. George and the other in Scarborough and Mississauga. In 1878, the School of Practical Science was introduced following the establishment of the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.
