There are well-arranged housing and accommodation facilities available for students nearby and around the city. The university also has accommodation facilities that help the students to reside on the university campus. The university also partners with numerous external organisations and local government bodies to facilitate students' housing and accommodation. Students need to comply with certain procedures and work to avail of on-campus accommodation.

International students who are aspiring to pursue post-graduation from the university need to have completed their graduation from a recognised board or university and should have prior work experience, and they should have cleared the language proficiency tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE and they should have prior permissions and Visas issued by the Canadian government, thereafter the process of admission becomes easier for the applicants.

The applicant is not required to go through any interview rounds at the Yukon University but has to appear for a placement test for entrance, and after qualifying for the exam, the applicant is required to fill out the necessary admission requirements that are provided by the university according to the course the student chooses, and the documents required the student has to provide the university with those necessary workings and requirements.

The Yukon University has 13 campuses in and around the Yukon Territory. The largest campus of the University is spread over an area of over 240+ acres, and it makes the university campus one of the largest university campuses in the Yukon territory. The campuses of the university are naturally isolated, and that makes it completely isolated from the sound of the neighbourhood of the Canadian territories. The University has all the basic requirements available on the campuses.
