With Indian students being one of the largest student populations worldwide, especially in top study abroad destinations like the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Germany, there has been an increase in pressure on them to show English proficiency and financial preparedness.
As per a recent survey by ETS, they found that around 85% of TOEFL test takers successfully secured student visas. This, in turn, proved the significance of TOEFL in the admissions and visa process.
Sachin Jain, who is the Country Manager of ETS India & South Asia, commented:
“Indian students are shaping classrooms across the world... Our role goes beyond assessments — we want to support students with tools that build confidence, readiness, and long-term success.”
Hitesh Parashar, who is the Chief Business Officer of Credila, shared:
“Financial planning is often the most daunting part of the study abroad journey. Through our partnership with ETS India, we aim to demystify this process, providing students and families with guidance and practical insights.”
Credila’s online financial literacy masterclass aims to help students get all the essential knowledge on education loans, budgeting, and money management for studying abroad.
Gradding’s expert consultants believe this initiative is a significant step toward democratizing study abroad preparation for Indian students.
“It’s rare to see both test prep and financial literacy offered together, especially for free. Initiatives like TOEFL SUPER 50 can give students a competitive edge,” says Mamta Shekhawat (Founder of Gradding).
