Welcome week is also known as induction or orientation week. It is the first week when you will step into the university. You will interact with your peers, teachers, management, and student union. In the initial days, you will get a tour of the whole university and its processes. During the week, you can choose the societies or clubs you wish to join, and various activities are organized to keep you engaged. 

Yes. Students must pay £2,000 before the university provides them with the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). The CAS statement is mandatory for you to be eligible to apply for the visa. The immigration office of the university takes around ten working days once they are satisfied with the information provided. 

The central University of Bangor comprises three prominent colleges, nine academic schools and around 50 research centres. It has expertise in providing several courses relating to the humanities, science and art field. Additionally, some of the courses, including accounting, sport science, electronic engineering, economics, marketing and finance, are also provided at the university. 

Generally, universities demand high fees just for applying. At Bangor University, there are no application fees for PG courses applied online. But for the UG course, they charge a minimal fee of £20-25 depending on the course applied via the UCAS portal.
