The University of Leicester promises to provide each and every one of its students with an accommodation option. There are a few rules and regulations that a student must be aware of, the accommodation guarantee is only issued to undergraduate students, and there is a deadline for the applications at the university. Each year before September 1, the accommodation applications are required to be submitted. 

All the accommodations that the university offers to its students are now self-catered. However, there are a few servings at the bar in the village hub. The various food outlets that were already on the campus will still remain open to all students and faculty alike. The University of Leicester requires all its students to have fluency in the English language; the students who enrol at the university are also required to present their English language scores on the tests such as IELTS and TOEFL. The eligibility criteria for various courses also depend upon the scores that an individual is able to secure in the language. 

The university does not discourage its students from getting a job while studying at the university; they, however, have the essential requirement that students don't get distracted from their education. There are various intense courses that will also advise students not to take a job while at the university; on the other hand, certain courses offer internships. 

The school experience is not the most essential or compulsory aspect to have before applying to the school. However, it is recommended that a student present experience as it will greatly advance their profile in both the selection process and later in their career path. Thus it will be advised to a student that they have a school experience.
