Scholarship Overview

Kerr Scholarship is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Amount offered for this Kerr Scholarship depends upon the university. This is a one time scholarship. The number of students to be awarded this scholarship Varies depending upon the university each year. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships. The final date for application is 31-03-2023.

Applicability of the scholarship

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed. This scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • No Special Restriction applicable.
  • Applicants must meet course specific entry requirements.
  • Academic Qualifications: Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), 3 Year Diploma (Completed after Secondary Certificate of Education).
  • demonstrate english language proficiency.
  • TOEFL- 80, IELTS- 6.5, PTE- 54.
  • This scholarship is awarded to applicants based on the strength of the admissions application.

  • Submit English proficiency test scores, if required, or qualify for an exemption to the English proficiency requirement.

  • In the “Questions” tab of the UIC First Year Supplement, apply to the UIC Honors College and submit the two required Honors College Essays ? (400-500 word limit for each question)  Please describe in detail ways that you have sought out academic challenges and personal growth opportunities while in high school
  • Examples can include activities both inside or outside of your school  In its mission statement, the UIC Honors College is described as a community of scholars whose goal is to enrich the educational experience of undergraduates and allow the faculty and students of all disciplines to interact in teaching, learning, and research
