Scholarship Overview

A.G. Hatcher Memorial Scholarship is applicable to only Masters Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. A.G. Hatcher Memorial Scholarship award up to CAD 15000 on a one time basis to various international students. This scholarship will be offered to 3 students every year. To be eligible for the award, applicants must have completed their Bachelor degree and passed the 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships

Scholarship Eligibility

  • No Special Restriction applicable.
  • Applicants must be either enrolled or planning to enroll in September in the Master's or doctoral program.
  • It will be awarded solely based on high academic merit.
  • Typically, a minimum first-class degree is required.

Application Process

  • Students must submit an application to their academic unit by their internal deadline date prior to submission to their Faculty/School
  • The scholarship application consists of a cover letter, a CV with a list of publications and/or presentations, a one-to-two page statement of research either completed and/or proposed, all transcripts, and three letters of reference.
  • The Faculty/School will forward their recommendation to the School of Graduate Studies to be considered by the Awards and Medals Committee
