Scholarship Overview

Convera Scholarship (formerly Western Union Scholarship) is applicable to only Bachelors Degree students. This is a Merit Based scholarship. Amount offered for Western Union Scholarship depends upon the university. This is a one time scholarship. No of awards for this scholarship depends upon the university. To be eligible for this scholarship students must have appeared for 12th grade. International students seeing to avail this scholarship need to appear for English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS, PTE. All international students are auto-considered for these scholarships when they apply for the courses that have scholarships.

Applicability of the scholarship

Students will be auto-considered for this scholarship when they apply for the courses on which this scholarship is applicable. No separate application is needed. This scholarship is applicable for Bachelors Degree.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Applicants must have passed high school.
  • One of the following is required: Higher Secondary School Certificate Higher Secondary Certificate Indian School Certificate Intermediate Examination Certificate All India or Delhi Senior School Certificate Pre-University Certificate Senior Secondary School Certificate.

  • Students who are missing an eligible course in one of subject groups 2, 3 or 4, who apply for admission to a program that does not require completion of these courses, will be considered for general admission..
  • For admission to Fall (Sept) 2024 and later: Minimum average of 60% in the required subject areas, with a passing grade in each subject..
  • For admission to Spring (May) 2024 and earlier: Minimum overall grade of 50% in the required subject areas. This will normally be considered equivalent to no more than two grades less than 50% and a “pass” in all 5 subject areas..
  • To be considered for this scholarship, a student must be eligible to pay the full international undergraduate fees and meet scholarship standing.

Application Process

  • Current, interim transcript and 10th result certificate
  • Official English proficiency test result.
  • Supplementary information required for competitive-entry programs may be required with your application.
  • Students will automatically be considered (not a guarantee to receive) for an entrance scholarship (if you meet the eligibility criteria)
